Jalen K Blunt was born in Washington, DC and moved to NYC at the age of 3.  As a toddler he was always interested in drawing, visiting museums and traveling.  He is currently 9 years of age and continues to draw passionately. 

As of 2009, Jay's art has really taken off based on the overwhelming positive response he receives after he completes a sketch. 

On any given day you might see him on a NYC train, with a sketchbook in tow!
